TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones kick off their longest road trip since October as they embark on four game, five day stretch beginning in Chicago. The teams split a pair of meetings last weekend, with the Cyclones claiming a 4-1 decision at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday. This year against Steve Martinson's club, Cincinnati has accumulated a 3-3-0-2 record but is still in search of its first-ever win at the Sears Centre. There has been no love lost between these two division rivals, with a combined 474 penalty minutes handed out in the season series...with eight more meetings still to come.

SCOUTING THE EXPRESS: Chicago has been the most penalized teams in the Eastern Conference this season, amassing 831 minutes in the sin bin. And with a penalty kill that ranks third worst in the ECHL (79.5%), their record of late has suffered. The Express are just 3-5-0-1 in their last ten games, getting outscored 43-28 during that stretch. One bright spot for Chicago this year has been Tyler Donati, who ranks 12th in the ECHL and leads the Express with 36 points (9 goals, 27 assists) in 31 games. Their biggest instigator, Devin DiDiomete, has been suspended for three games due to an altercation with Cincinnati during warm-ups on Friday night and will not be in the lineup tonight or on Saturday for Steve Martinson's team. In net, Allen York and Peter Mannino have split time for the Express. York has earned a 4-3-1 record with a 3.62 goals-against average this year while Mannino has gone 1-2-0-1 with a 3.22 GAA.

About Saturday Night vs. Chicago: The Cyclones enjoyed a three-goal first period and never looked back as they rolled past the Express by a 4-1 final score in front of 5,755 at U.S. Bank Arena. Mike Pelech and David Leaderer both registered multi-point games while Chet Pickard turned aside 27 shots to earn the victory.

Keep On Keepin' On: Cyclones forward Matt Sisca has continued his tremendous rookie season since being acquired from Bakersfield. He earned a three point weekend vs. Chicago last weekend and now owns the top spot on the Cincinnati scoring leader board. His 32 points ranks third among all active ECHL rookies, while ranking second in assists (21) and third in shots (117).

He's Baaaack: Second-year net minder Brian Foster has been reassigned to Cincinnati after another stint at the higher levels. Foster spent some time in the NHL, playing the role of backup for the Florida Panthers followed by another visit to San Antonio. With the Cyclones this year, he has earned an impressive 7-1-0 record with a 2.64 GAA.

A New Century Club Member: With a two-point game on Friday night, Cyclones forward Dan Eves earned his 100th professional point. The 25-year old has earned 36 goals and 64 assists in 176 career games (25 of those points have come with Cincinnati). In 2011-12, Eves has 11 assists in 16 games and is on pace for a career high in "helpers." He is currently on a five-game assist streak, which is tied for the longest-such active streak in the ECHL.
