Curve Reveal 2022 Schedule of Home Games at Peoples Natural Gas Field

CURVE, PA - The Altoona Curve, Double-A Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, are pleased to announce the dates in which the 2022 Curve will play at home at Peoples Natural Gas Field.
The 138-game schedule includes 69 home games beginning on Opening Day at PNG Field on Friday, April 8, 2022, against the Harrisburg Senators. The schedule continues the same format used in 2021 with six-game series against opponents; one series is split in half to accommodate a three-day break when Major League Baseball's All-Star Game takes place from Tuesday, July 19 to Thursday, July 21.
The schedule features series against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals), New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays), Somerset Patriots (New York Yankees), Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants), Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles), Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers), Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) and Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies).

The Curve are slated to play at home on Sunday, July 3 to celebrate America's Birthday in a match-up with the most appropriate opponent in the league, the Harrisburg Senators.
The month of April features nine total home games against the Harrisburg Senators and New Hampshire Fisher Cats. May features the lone 12-game homestand of the season when the Curve welcome the Somerset Patriots and Richmond Flying Squirrels. June features 15 home games against the Bowie Baysox, Erie SeaWolves and Senators. In addition to finishing off a series with Harrisburg in July, the Curve will host the Flying Squirrels for a second series at PNG Field. August features 14 home games against the Akron RubberDucks and Senators.
Altoona wraps up the regular season at home with ten games in the month of September, finishing with a six-game series against the Reading Fightin Phils from Tuesday, September 13 to Sunday, September 18.
