AVON, Ohio - The Lake Erie Crushers are set to open a three game home stand against the River City Rascals beginning on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. at All Pro Freight Stadium.
Coming off a six game road trip to face the London Rippers and Washington WildThings, the Crushers are happy to be back at All Pro Freight Stadium.
There a three terrific promotions going on for this three game series beginning with Avon Lake Community Day, which will be on Wednesday. Every Wednesday is also Dollar Dog night at the ballpark.
Several businesses from the Avon Lake community will be showcasing their business, and Avon Lake residents can receive a one dollar discounted admission with valid ID from the Avon Lake community.
The Crushers are hosting a Salute to Ears promotion on Thursday, and Thirsty Thursday by Labatt Blue Light will also be taking place. Salute To Ears will be giving recognition to one of the senses that makes the baseball experience so great.
There will be elephant ears, ear related on field promotions, among other special day of promotions. The Corn Festival will also be on hand to promote ears of corn to keep the Salute to Ear theme going.
Fireworks Friday will cap off the home stand against the River City Rascals, which are presented by the Chronicle-Telegram and WEOL.
