
Crunch Assign Center Chirs Higgins To Gwinnett

Syracuse, NY (February 6, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have assigned center Chris Higgins to Gwinnett (ECHL).
Higgins, 23, has appeared in six games with the Crunch this season and made his professional debut on October 3 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In addition, he has skated in 10 games with Gwinnett this year, tallying six goals, three assists and four penalty minutes.
Prior to turning pro, Higgins appeared in 159 games over four seasons from 2005-09 with Boston University (HE), accumulating 49 goals, 84 assists and 92 penalty minutes and was a member of the Terriers' 2009 NCAA Division I National Championship Team. A native of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, Higgins was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on July 9, 2009.
The Crunch's next game is on Saturday, February 6 at 7:30 p.m. when they face Adirondack at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
