Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (October 28, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have assigned left wings J.F. Jacques and Patrick Maroon to Syracuse.

Jacques, 26, has appeared in five games for Syracuse this season, recording four points (2g 2a) and two penalty minutes. He appeared in three preseason contests with Anaheim before originally being assigned to Syracuse on September 29. Selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 68thoverall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he was acquired by the Ducks as a free agent on July 6, 2011.

Maroon, 23, has appeared in six games with the Crunch this season, collecting eight points (4g, 4a) and 15 penalty minutes. Maroon is tied for sixth among AHL leaders in plus/minus and tied for 15th in goals. Maroon made his NHL debut with the Ducks, Tuesday, October 25, recording two penalty minutes.

The Crunch's next game is Saturday, Oct. 29 when the Crunch take on the Norfolk Admirals at the War Memorial.
