Tonight will be the middle contest of a three-game set between divisional foes, the Kalamazoo Wings and the Wheeling Nailers. Kalamazoo defeated Wheeling last night 4-1 at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and now leads the season series over the Nailers with a record of 3-2-0-1.
With their victory last night, Kalamazoo extended their unbeaten in regulation streak to 15 games (12-0-0-3). Besides the unbeaten streak, the K-Wings are unbeaten in regulation at Wings Stadium in their last seven contests (6-0-0-1).
With the loss last night, the Nailers have fallen eight points behind the K-Wings for the first place in the North Division. With 65 points, Wheeling, leads the Cincinnati Cyclones and Toledo Walleye by four points for second place in the division.

Forward Trent Daavettila enters this evening on an 11-game point streak. Daavettila, who holds the K-Wings' season-high for consecutive games with a point with 12, has notched 21 points (6 goals, 15 assists) over the course of his current streak.
Heating Up
Forwards Andrew Fournier and Kory Karlander have been on a scoring tear. Fournier is currently on a six-game point streak; while Karlander has registered at least a point in four straight games.
Keep on Rolling
Kalamazoo enters tonight unbeaten in regulation in 15 straight (12-0-0-3) games and on a season-high seven-game home unbeaten streak (6-0-0-1). The 15-game streak is not only a team-high, but it's also the longest unbeaten streak this season in the ECHL.
