
Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings vs Toledo Walleye

It will be a North Division showdown at Wings Stadium as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Toledo Walleye. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-3-0-0 versus the Walleye, which includes a record of 3-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium.
Earning a 3-2 overtime victory last night against the Fort Wayne Komets, the K-Wings have moved into a first place tie atop the North Division with the Cincinnati Cyclones. Kalamazoo returns to Vanrick Drive looking to extend a season-high four-game home winning streak.
Tonight is game three of a five-game road trip for the Walleye. Toledo was victorious in the first two legs of the swing and enters Wings Stadium with wins in four out of their last six contests. With 39 points, the Walleye are in fifth place in the North Division.

Myron Returns Earlier this afternoon, the K-Wings have signed forward Wesley Myron. Myron, who played a portion of last season with Kalamazoo, hasn't played this season due to an injury in the AHL training camp of the Utica Comets.
Rolling Along Defenseman Sam Ftorek is entering tonight on a four-game point streak. Ftorek has earned points in eight out of his last nine games.

Kalamazoo finished last night's come-from-behind 3-2 overtime victory against the Fort Wayne Komets by scoring back-to-back goals in a span of 1:16. That time frame marks the quickest this season that the K-Wings have posted consecutive goals.
