For the first-time in a month and a half the Kalamazoo Wings and Fort Wayne Komets will renew their rivalry. On the season, Kalamazoo is 6-6-1-0 versus Fort Wayne, including a record of 4-4-0-0 at Wings Stadium.
Ending their four-game home stand this evening, the K-Wings hit the ice looking to stay red-hot. Kalamazoo has won three-straight games, all at home. The three-game win streak is one game shy of their season-high, while the three-game home winning streak ties a season-high season.
Like Kalamazoo, Fort Wayne comes into tonight's game looking to extend a streak. The Komets are unbeaten in regulation in their last three games (2-0-0-1). After this evening, Fort Wayne will return to the Allen County Memorial Coliseum for a three-game home stand.

Friesen Debuts, while Young Returns There will be two additions to the K-Wings roster this evening with forward Alex Friesen and defenseman Harry Young joining the lineup. On Wednesday, Friesen was reassigned by the Vancouver Canucks, while Young was assigned by the New Jersey Devils.
Baker's Dozen Forward John Armstrong begins the week on a 13-game point streak and a four-game goal streak. Both streaks are season-highs for the K-Wings.

Besides Armstrong, forward Alexandre Grenier has been racking up points. Grenier enters the week on a five-game point streak.
