Elmira Jackals Playoff Tickets on Sale this Monday

ELMIRA, N.Y. - March 15, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that 2013 Kelly Cup playoff tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m., and that this year's playoffs have been branded #RiseUpForTheCup.

"This year's team has risen up in the face of adversity all season long and is on the verge of reaching its goal of making the playoffs. We couldn't be prouder of the effort the players have put forth, and the support the fans have shown them. The most appropriate way to show our excitement for the playoffs, and let our goal be known, was with the slogan #RiseUpForTheCup," said Jackals general manager Matt Hufnagel.

Playoff ticket packages will go on sale to the public on Monday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. Playoff packages can be purchased by visiting the First Arena Box Office between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., by visiting the Jackals main office, or by calling the Jackals main office at 607-734-7825.

The Jackals playoff ticket package is a "pay as we play" package so fans are only buying tickets for games as they become necessary. The packages start with four tickets (the maximum number of home games per round) and then roll over as more home games become necessary. A credit card must be used to purchase and enroll in the "pay as we play" playoff ticket package.

Jackals season ticket holders have right of first refusal to purchase their seats for the playoffs. The seats will remain held until Sunday, March 24, 2013. Following that date, all seats will be released for purchase by the general public.

Individual playoff tickets will go on sale at a later date and more information will be made available at the appropriate time.
