Titans GameDay vs. Cincinnati, March 15 - Game 64 (Home 33)

March 15, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

Last Meeting

February 26, 2013 - Stephen Schultz's 22nd of the year (and 1st of 2 PPG) gave the Titans a very early 1-0 lead. However the Cyclones scored four unanswered after that. Both sides traded goals after that as Cincinnati came away with a 7-4 win on its home ice at U.S. Bank Arena.

Playoffs Not Guaranteed Yet?

Seven of eight playoff spots are claimed in the West, but none have been in the East. A win by Cinncy today clinches a playoff berth and no worse than a tie with Toledo for the North Division title.

Record (Home/Away); Streaks

Cincinnati: 19-7-3-1 Road (8-1-0-1 in last 10 road games, including 2 SOW and 1 OTW). The Cyclones are 9-0-1 in their last 10 overall. Trenton: 15-13-2-2 Home (4-4-1-1 in last 10 at home). The Titans are 6-3-0-1 overall in their last 10.

Season Series

Cincinnati is 6-0 against Trenton. The Titans are 0-5-0-1, losing the last meeting in Trenton on January 20 in a shootout, 5-4. This is the last of seven meetings.

Long Overdue

Cincinnati has had the Trenton's (Titans/Devils) number for the last couple of years. Since 2009-10, Trenton has gone 2-10-0-2 (1-3-0-1 at home including 2 shutouts, 1-7-0-1 on the road). Trenton's last home win over the Cyclones was November 5, 2010 (5-4, OT). It's a year longer to find the win column in the Queen City, last getting a win on November 18, 2009 (4-2).

Cinncy Head Coach Jarrod Skalde has yet to lose to Trenton in his brief career with the Cyclones.
