After meeting last night, the Kalamazoo Wings and Fort Wayne Komets will head to Wings Stadium for the second half of their home-and-home series. Erasing a two-goal deficit, the Komets defeated the K-Wings 4-3 last night at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum.
Concluding a four-game road swing last night, the K-Wings will return home for an abbreviated two-game home stand. On the season, the K-Wings are 5-3-0-0 at Wings Stadium. Starting the season red-hot, Kalamazoo has cooled off going 3-7-0-0 in their last 10 games.
Snapping a three-game losing streak last night, Fort Wayne has moved back into third place in the North Division, one point ahead of Kalamazoo. With 17 points, the Komets are one point behind the Cincinnati Cyclones for second and trail division leader, the Toledo Walleye by two points.
