Condors In The Community: Kids Club Party This Tuesday At Rollerama

This Week In Condorstown:

Monday, Feb. 8

Baby Cal and the Condors slap shot booth took part in the 100th anniversary celebration of the Boy Scouts at the East Hills Mall on Mt. Vernon Ave in the afternoon.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

The Condors Kids Club members are invited out to an exclusive Meet the Team Party on February 9 at Rollerama West, located at 7850 Brimhall Road, from 6-8 p.m. Each Kids Club member receives free skate rentals, a hot dog or pizza slice and soda. Remember to bring your Kids Club badge to the event. Members' siblings and parents may rent skates for $5. Bring Condors memorabilia to have signed by the entire Condors Team, plus mascots Colonel Claw'd, Baby Cal and SlapShot.

Wednesday, Feb. 10

RW Nick Kemp will appear on ABC 23's Morning Show with Mike Hart and Elaina Rusk at 6:30 a.m.

Thursday, Feb. 11

Kevin Bartl will be a special guest on the Scott Cox Show on KERN 1180 at 7 a.m. Bartl will discuss Condors hockey and the upcoming games this weekend.

RW Jason Dale and D Bobby Davey will visit Laurelglen Elementary School, located at 2601 El Portal Dr., from 1-2 p.m. The players will talk to the students about the importance of staying in school and will also take part in a game of Noodle Street Hockey.

The Condors Coach's Show, hosted by the Voice of the Condors Kevin Bartl, will air live at Tailgaters from 5-6 p.m on ESPN Radio 1230. The show will include Head Coach Marty Raymond and RW Ryan Menei.

Friday, Feb. 12

Players (TBA) will travel to Si Se Puede Learning Center, located at 1054 Washington St., from 3:30-4:30. The players will participate in games, discuss the importance of nutrition and health in sports and answer questions from the kids.

Saturday, Feb. 13

The Condors host the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7 p.m. for Timo Pielmeier Youth Jersey Giveaway, presented by KGET-TV 17, La Preciosa, 105.3 and McDonald's. The first 2,000 kids 12 and under will receive a youth jersey featuring "Timo #33" on the back. Don't wait in line, get your tickets early because the jerseys will go fast.

Sunday, Feb. 14

Spend Valentine's Day at Rabobank Arena for a 2 p.m. matinee as the Condors play host to the Ontario Reign for Valentine's Day Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction, sponsored by Bright House Networks, 96.5 Max FM and McDonald's. Players will suit up in special Valentine's Day jerseys, featuring a check box on the back with choices "single" or "taken" for the players to mark off their dating availability. Five lucky fans will win a jersey from the raffle, while the rest will be auctioned off live at center ice following the game. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

Carl's Jr. Condors Season Tickets For Life!

The Bakersfield Condors are teaming up with Carl's Jr. to give fans the chance to win season tickets for life, as part of the Condors Fantasy Giveaway Sweepstakes contest that runs through Feb. 10, 2010.
