Nie Returns From Aeros

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce goaltender Ryan Nie has been returned from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Nie, who has missed the past two K-Wings contests, has made 21 appearances for the K-Wings earning a record of 13-7-0-1, a goals against average of 2.80 and a save percentage of 0.910.

In his recent loan to Houston, Nie made 14 saves in a 5-3 loss last Friday to Milwaukee.

The K-Wings will be back in action Wednesday, February 10th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at the U.S. Bank Arena against the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Kalamazoo will return to Wings Stadium this Friday, February 12th for a 7:30 p.m. battle versus the Johnstown Chiefs on Metro PCS Night and Scout Night. Friday's game will also be a Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.
