
Condors hosting "Rolling Blackout"for Kelly Cup Playoffs

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors will meet up with the Alaska Aces this coming week in the opening round of the 2005 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Games 3 and 4 (if necessary) will take place in Bakersfield at the Rabobank Arena with a Rolling Blackout in effect. All fans are encouraged to wear black to the Condors home playoff games. The first round of the playoffs is sponsored by KGET-TV 17, The Big 96.5 and U.S. Army.
The first two games of the best-of-five series will take place in Alaska at the Sullivan Arena on Tuesday and Wednesday night at 8:15 p.m. (PST). Game 3 will take place on Thursday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m. The first 2,000 fans will get a Condors Rolling Blackout t-shirt, and all fans should wear black to the game to participate in the blackout.
Game 4, if necessary, will be on Saturday, April 16th at the Rabobank Arena. That night Bakersfield native and American Idol star Amy Adams will be singing the National Anthem as well as performing during the first intermission. She will be available for photos and autographs as well.
If the series goes to five games, the fifth and deciding game will be held in Alaska on Monday, April 18th at 8:15 p.m. (PST).
Individual playoff tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 11th at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices are listed below:

All Condors games, home and away, can be heard live on KGEO AM 1230 as well as on the internet through the radio link at www.bakersfieldcondors.com. The playoff games in Alaska can also be viewed online through the B2 Networks link on the Condors home page.
The Condors final game of the regular season will be against the Idaho Steelheads at 7:00 p.m. tonight at the Rabobank Arena. Tonight's game features a Home Makeover Giveaway, sponsored by Sunshine Sunroom and Patio, KKEY-TV 11 and KUZZ 107.9. One fan present at tonight's game will win the giveaway, good for a traditional lattice patio cover valued at $5,000. If the winner already has a patio cover, they will get a $5,000 credit towards Sunshine Sunroom and Patio.

Individual game tickets are now on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena box office, which opens at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster location.
