Wranglers Downed By Aces 4-2

Las Vegas, NV– The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the Alaska Aces on Friday night in front of 6,710 fans at the Orleans Arena. Wranglers forward Jeff Attard scored his 16th goal of the season and Nick Anderson scored his second in the defeat. Aces' goaltender Matt Underhill made 50 shots for his 16th win of the season. The Wranglers will host the Aces tomorrow night at 7:05pm in the final game of the season.

In the first period, winger Nick Anderson scored at 12:55 to give the Wranglers the 1-0 lead. The Aces tied the game at one when Mike Scott scored his 17th goal of the season, 16 seconds later.

In the second period, Chris Minard scored his league-leading 49th goal of the season to give the Aces the 2-1 lead. Aces' defenseman Ryan Bast scored a goal at 3:54 of the period to push the Aces to a 3-1 lead. Center Scott Gomez scored his 13th goal of the year to give Alaska a 4-1 lead. Wranglers' center Jeff Attard tallied his 16th goal of the year to cut the Alaska lead to at 4-2.

The Wranglers conclude their season with their final home game against Alaska on Saturday, April 9th at 7:05 pm. On Saturday April 9th, every fan through the door will receive a Wranglers team poster sponsored by NBC-TV 3.
