
Reading Makes Several Roster Moves as they Close 2004-05 Regular Season

Reading, PA â The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced that defenseman Beau Geisler has been assigned by the Manchester Monarchs, while defenseman Troy Milam has been recalled to the Monarchs. The Royals have placed Milam on the 7-day IR, along with recently signed center Rob Hisey. Forward Pat O'Leary has been transferred from the 7-day to the 30-day injured reserve.
Geisler has appeared in 11 games with Manchester collecting one goal, a game winner, and an assist. The rookie defensman has appeared in 48 games with Reading and scored four goals and 18 points with 24 penalty minutes. He is plus-8 registering 10 of his 18 points on the power play.
Troy Milam returns to Manchester after spending 19 games with the Royals. He scored no goals and 10 assists, six on the power play, while posting a plus-7 rating. In addition, Milam has recorded eight penalty minutes. The Lake Orion, Michigan native chipped in two assists in his first two games in a Royals sweater. Milam has appeared in 37 games with the Monarchs and scored two goals and 11 points with 30 penalty minutes. Prior to his departure, Milam was placed on the 7-day injured reserve.
Rookie center Rob Hisey has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve as well. Hisey hasn't appeared in a game with Reading after signing a contract on April 6. The former Ontario Hockey League standout performer will be available for activation prior to the start of the Kelly Cup Playoffs next week.
Forward Pat O'Leary has been transferred from the 7-day to the 30-day injured reserve. O'Leary suffered multiple injuries on Sunday, April 3 in the Royals 2-1 playoff-clinching win over Peoria.
