GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- The Grand Prairie AirHogs are set for their last multi-series homestand of the season, welcoming in the Fort Worth Cats and Wichita Wingnuts for six games at QuikTrip Park this week.
The Cats come in first, starting Monday, July 11. That night is Military Monday, with all active military, fire and police personnel able to purchase tickets for just $5 with ID. The next game is $2 Tuesday, with all general admission tickets going for $2.
The series concludes on Wednesday, July 13, with the first of two Dog Days this season, where fans are invited to bring their dogs to QuikTrip Park (as long as they are on a leash) to help chase the Cats back to Fort Worth. It is also Senior Citizens Night, where all fans 55 and over get the best available seats for $5 and can run the bases after the game.
After an off day on Thursday when the AirHogs' annual charity golf tournament benefitting the David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation will take place, the Wingnuts come to town for the only time this season.
Friday night is the usual Teacher Appreciation Night, where all high school teachers can get in for $5, and it is also Country-Western Night, where all fans wearing cowboy boots, hats, or any other appropriate attire can also get a $5 ticket.
The middle game of the series on Saturday, July 16, features another great Fireworks Saturday Night spectacular, and is also Harry Potter Night. To celebrate the release of the final film of the series, any fan who comes dressed in their Harry Potter gear or magical attire can come to the game FOR FREE!
The series and the homestand conclude on Sunday, July 17, with Pepsi Family Night. All fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and Pepsi products, along with a chance to play catch on the field before the game and for kids to run the bases afterwards.
