Last Week's Games:

(Wednesday, Mar. 2nd vs. Fort Wayne) Adrian Veideman and Darryl Bootland each notched a goal and an assist, while goaltender Kris Lazaruk stopped 30 shots as the Eagles defeated the Fort Wayne Komets 3-1 on Wednesday. Colorado went 6-for-6 on the penalty kill, powering the Eagles to the team's fifth consecutive victory.

(Saturday, Mar. 5th vs. Allen) The Eagles grew their winning streak to six straight games with a 3-1 victory over the Allen Americans on Saturday at the Budweiser Events Center. Clarke Saunders was stellar in net, turning aside 27 of Allen's 28 shots on goal, while Kyle Kraemer, Johnny Lazo and Sean Ringrose each posted a goal and an assist in the win.

(Sunday, Mar. 6th vs. Fort Wayne) The Eagles rallied from a 3-0 deficit to force overtime and pick up a point in the standings in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday afternoon. Johnny Lazo continued his hot play, scoring a pair of goals, including the game-tying tally in the third period. The match-up also marked Head Coach Chris Stewart's 1,000th game at the professional level.

This Week:

(Friday, Mar. 11th @ Utah, 7:05pm MST) Colorado faces the Utah Grizzlies for the sixth time this season and for the fourth time at the Maverick Center when the two teams square off on Friday. The Eagles are 1-4-1 this season against Utah, collecting a 6-3 victory over the Grizzlies in the last meeting between the two clubs on January 27th.

(Saturday, Mar. 12th @ Utah, 7:05pm MST) The Eagles conclude a quick, two-game road trip to Utah with a match-up against the Grizzlies on Saturday. Colorado enters this two-game set trailing the Grizzlies by just four points for 2nd place in the West Division with the Eagles holding two games in-hand, as well.

Friday, March 11th - The second Colorado Eagles Watch Party of the season takes place at The Summit on Friday when the Eagles travel to Utah for the first of two big games against the Utah Grizzlies. The Pioneer Press Eagles Chicks will be on hand, as well as non-travelling Eagles players.
