FLORENCE, SC -- Brian Collins scored a goal and added two assists and Nick Boucher made 26 saves as the Pee Dee Pride (9-4-2) won for the second straight game, 3-1 over the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday in front of 3,182 fans at the Florence Civic Center. Pee Dee is now 4-0-1 at home this season, and 10-0-2 in its last 12 games dating back to last season.

The Pride scored the lone goal of the first period, as Tyler Kindle blasted a slap shot through Kirk Daubenspeck's five-hole at 11:41.

South Carolina tied the game at 16:56 of the second period. Joe Tenute gathered in a rebound on the far post and tucked it past Boucher for his ninth goal of the season.

Pee Dee took the lead for good 88:56 into the final period with a shorthanded tally. Collins made a nifty pass to Gregg Johnson, who skated in alone on Daubenspeck and beat him with a wrister. It was the Pride's league-leading sixth shorthanded goal of the season, but the first on home ice.

Collins finished the scoring, adding an empty-net tally with 0.1 seconds remaining on the clock.

Saturday night, the Pride host the Charlotte Checkers at 7:30 p.m. on Camo Night, presented by Buffy's Sportsman's Paradise. Pride players will wear special camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off in a live auction immediately following the game. Plus, all fans are encouraged to come to the game dressed in their best camo outfit. The fan that wears the best outfit will win a $50 gift certificate to Buffy's.

Tickets for all Pride home games are available at the Florence Civic Center Box Office, or through TicketMaster at (843) 679-9333 or www.ticketmaster.com.
