Cole Reschny to Represent Canada at 2023 World Under-17 Challenge

Victoria, BC - Royals forward Cole Reschny (Macklin, SK) has been named by Hockey Canada to Team Red for the 2023 World Under-17 Challenge in Charlottetown and Summerside, PEI. Reschny is one of 44 players who will represent Canada in the tournament.
The Royals selected Reschny third overall in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft. In 11 games this season, the 16-year-old forward has scored twice and added eight assists for 10 points. Reschny is tied for fifth in rookie scoring across the WHL.
Reschny and his team will open up the tournament on November 2 at 4:00 PM as they square off against Finland at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown.
