Clinton Battles for First in Three-game Stand

CLINTON, IA - The Clinton LumberKings return home for a three-game homestand and series with the Kane County Cougars (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) with both teams atop the standings in the Western Divisions. The homestand - which runs from Wednesday, July 24 through Friday, July 26 - features two giveaways and a postgame fireworks show!

The clash of titans begins with a Wednesday night series opener that falls on "Retro Beer Night." For fans 21 years and older, enjoy retro beers for just $2 sold exclusively out of the first base beer stand all game long.

Arrive early and receive the fifth baseball card strip giveaway of the year. Be one of the first 500 fans through the gates and receive this giveaway courtesy of Clinton National Bank and Mediacom.

Game two of the homestand will be the final "Thirsty Thursday" of the month of July. For fans 21 years and older come down to the ballpark and start the weekend early with $2 select beers sold throughout the ballpark all game long.

The series and homestand comes to an end on Friday with a jampacked promotional schedule. Fans who are 14 years and younger get to the park early for a Miami Marlins wristband giveaway.

After the game the fun continues with a postgame fireworks spectacular that will take place following the final out.
