2/24/2006 Cleveland 4, Peoria 2 - Dimitri Patzold turned aside 32 shots-on-goal from Peoria in the Barons 4-2 win at Carver Arena. The Barons scored the first goal of the game for just the fourth time in their past 21 games as Shane Joseph slid his 8th of the year past Reinhard Divis at the 6:15 mark of the opening frame. Josh Prudden and Ryane Clowe assisted on the goal, which turned out to be the only tally of the first period. The Barons extended their lead from one-goal to two-goals after forty minutes of play. Clowe's 13th goal of the year at the 1:45 mark gave the Barons the 2-0 lead. The two-goal advantage was short-lived, however, as Gavin Morgan scored on a breakaway 2:02 later. Patrick Rissmiller scored his 15th goal of the season to re-establish the two-goal lead. Josh Hennessy gave the Barons a 4-1 lead at the 1:17 mark of the final period, chasing Divis from the net. Peoria scored the games final goal with a power play marker from Brendan Brooks.

2/25/2006 Cleveland 0, Chicago 8 - The AHL's largest crowd of the season, 16,607, enjoyed an 8-0 win by their hometown Wolves on Saturday night at Allstate Arena. In a night dominated by the Wolves power play, Chicago scored twice with the man advantage for a 2-0 lead after the opening twenty minutes of action. Scott Barney's 17th goal of the year occurred just 2:29 into the game and Braydon Colburn followed for the Wolves with a slap shot from the blue line that rang off the post and behind Nolan Schaefer. A barrage of offense from Chicago matched a season-worst five goals allowed in a period by the Barons this season. Derek MacKenzie began onslaught with an even strength goal at 6:34. Colin Stuart scored his 8th of the year to extend the Chicago lead to 4-0 less than a minute later. Chicago's power play kicked into gear again setting up MacKenzie's second of the period for a 5-0 lead. Kip Miller then scored back to back even strength goals to finish up the period for Chicago.
