Cincinnati Mighty Ducks announce roster moves

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks were assigned left wing Stanislav Chistov by the National Hockey League's Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Monday.

Chistov, a first-round pick by Anaheim in 2001, had two goals and 16 assists with 26 penalty minutes in 56 games with Anaheim this season. He has also appeared in 20 games with Cincinnati this season, recording three goals and seven assists with 33 penalty minutes.

With the addition of Chistov, Cincinnati reassigned center Igor Pohanka to ECHL San Diego.

Pohanka, a second-round pick by New Jersey in 2001, had five goals and six assists with six penalty minutes in 42 games with Cincinnati this season. He had one goal and six assists in 11 games with San Diego earlier this season.

Cincinnati enters the final week of the regular season with a 28-36-12-1 record for 69 points and lead sixth-place San Antonio by five points for the final playoff spot in the West Division. The Ducks have three games remaining, while San Antonio has five. Chistov is eligible for postseason play with Cincinnati.
