
Ferraros and Reirden at Friendly\'s this evening

Springfield, MA â Springfield Falcons forwards Peter and Chris Ferraro as well as defenseman Todd Reirden will be at the Friendly's Restaurant at 1094 Riverdale Road in West Springfield from 5 to 8 pm tonight in the last Family Fun Night of the 2003-04 season. Screech, the Falcons lovable mascot, will also be present at the event. A portion of the sales from each Family Fun Night benefit the Jennifer Ferraro Foundation and Springfield Falcons Charities, Inc.
Peter Ferraro leads the Falcons in goals (19), assists (30) and points (49) this season. Chris Ferraro ranks second on the team in both assists (24) and points (37). Each of the twin brothers are in the tenth season of their respective professional careers.
Reirden has posted 12 points (5g, 7a) in 30 games with Springfield this season. The blueliner began the season with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks before being acquired by the Phoenix Coyotes, the Falcons' NHL affiliate, from Anaheim in a trade on January 17th. Reirden has posted 46 points (11g, 35a) in 183 NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Atlanta Thrashers, and Phoenix during his career.
The Jennifer Ferraro Foundation was established in memory of Jennifer Ferraro, who lost her courageous battle with stomach cancer in November 2002. The foundation assists patients with stomach and other cancers at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Her husband, Chris, and brother-in-law, Peter, play for Springfield and serve as Co-Captains of the team.
Springfield Falcons Charities, Inc. supports local children's charities throughout Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. In the past seven years, Springfield Falcons Charities, Inc. has donated over $350,000 to the community.
