The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Albuquerque Isotopes 6-3 in a back and forth game Wednesday night at Southwest University Park. Carlos Pimentel was the winning pitcher after allowing two runs in six innings of work.

Trailing 1-0 in the third, El Paso had back-to-back, two-out RBI singles by Carlos Asuaje and Hunter Renfroe to go ahead. Asuaje had another two-out RBI single in the fifth to increase the El Paso lead to 3-1. Asuaje went 4-for-4 Wednesday with two RBIs.

After leading 4-3 at the seventh inning stretch, the Chihuahuas scored twice more to go ahead 6-3 in a bizarre inning that included three El Paso hits, two Albuquerque errors and two different run down plays.
