From the Notes

Money at Cashman Field: The Aces trail the all-time series against Las Vegas by a 63-56 margin, including a 34-25 deficit at Cashman Field. However, the Aces plated 16 runs in last night's contest, eclipsing their previous high of 14 runs (accomplished two other times, most recently in Monday's 14-7 win) at Cashman Field. Reno has raked 42 hits and scored 31 times through the first three games of the series.

Series Win in the Cards, Again?: The Aces have won each of their last three series, taking three out of four games from Las Vegas and Salt Lake at home before winning a four-game set at Tacoma. Reno last won four consecutive series from August 20-September 6, 2014, when they took three of four from Iowa and swept Omaha at Greater Nevada Field. The Aces then won four of five games at Sacramento to close out the regular season before winning in the first round of the playoffs over the 51s, three games to one. Reno last won four straight sets solely in the regular season when they won six straight series from May 10-June 3, 2014. They took three of four from Fresno at home twice, Salt Lake, Tacoma (away) and Las Vegas (away), with a brief two out of three game series win at Albuquerque sprinkled in.

Getting Offensive: The Aces have scored 115 runs in 14 contests in June, good for an average of 8.21 runs per game. The Aces have eclipsed 200 runs in a single month twice in team history (204 - June of '11; 222 - May of '14). If the Aces maintain their current pace over their last 15 games of the month, they'll total 238 runs to set a new franchise record for runs in a single month.

He Likes It, Hey Mikey!: Two nights after recording five hits in six at-bats during Reno's 14-7 win over the 51s, Mike Freeman racked up four more hits with four RBI and three runs scored last night. Freeman is batting .667 (10-for-15) through the first three games of the series at Las Vegas. In six games overall against the 51s, he is batting .536 (15-for-28) with one homer, two triples, five doubles, six RBI, 13 runs scored and three walks, good for a .581 on-base percentage and 1.545 OPS.

A second Freeman almost hits for cycle, Mike of #Dbacks falls homer short in @Aces slugfest. http://atmilb.com/1UAlXik
