For the second game in a row, the El Paso Chihuahuas lost by one run and Franmil Reyes homered twice. The Reno Aces won Thursday night 6-5 and took three of the four games in the series. The contest concluded El Paso's nine-game homestand.

Reyes went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs. It was El Paso's second multi-home run game of the season, both achieved by Reyes in the last two games. In eight games against Reno this season, Reyes has six home runs and 14 RBIs.

Michael Mariot pitched two scoreless relief innings for the Chihuahuas. Reyes now has nine homers this season, passing Brett Nicholas for the team lead. El Paso is 6-10 at home, with an 11-1 record on the road.
