COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Omaha Storm Chasers mustered four hits on Sunday, losing, 4-0, to the Columbus Clippers in the series finale at Huntington Park. Omaha (47-35) and Columbus (37-45) split the six-game series and the Chasers post a 5-7 record for the two-week road trip.
The Clippers scored all four runs in the first two innings. The Clippers doubled their lead in the second when Call brought in two with an RBI double down the left-field line.
The Chasers recorded one hit and three total baserunners against right-hander Cody Morris, who made his Triple-A debut, striking out eight in 4.0 scoreless innings. Left-hander Logan Allen (Win, 2-3) struck out six in 5.0 shutout innings of relief.
Butler ended his outing by retiring the last 11 batters he faced and 13 of the last 14.
