Charlotte, N.C. - A record setting crowd of 12,256 saw the Charlotte Checkers fall to the Florida Everblades by a score of 3-2 in a shootout.

CHECKERS EDGE EVERBLADES, WIN 3-2
Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers lost their three previous games to the Everblades but, that streak would end with a victory over Florida tonight extracting some revenge with a 3-2 win.
