West Sacramento, Calif. - A day after defeating the Grizzlies in 13 innings, the sacramento River cats fell to Fresno in 10 innings on Sunday night, 3-2, at Raley Field. The River Cats led the game, 1-0, entering the 8th when before the Grizzlies scored one in the 8th and one in the ninth to tie the game. The Cats scratched back though, scoring one in the bottom of the ninth on Jermaine Clark's 2-out RBI double that came within feet of leaving the park for the team's second consecutive walk-off home run victory (John Baker ended Saturday's game with a 13th inning 2-run shot). Fresno scored again in the extra frame and the Cats could not match it, falling to the Grizzlies for the first time this season. The two teams square off again on Monday as LHP Dan Meyer (2-6, 5.26) takes the mound against Fresno's RHP Seung Song (0-1, 4.18).
