TODAY'S OPPONENT: The Round Rock Express are the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. This is their first season in the Pacific Coast League. A team by the same name played in the Double-A Texas League from 2000-2004. The Astros' Triple-A affiliate was the New Orleans Zephyrs from 1997-2004. The Edmonton Trappers moved to Round Rock after last season.

TODAY'S GAME: The RedHawks continue their series against Round Rock. They have won 12 of 14. The RedHawks are 12-5 on Sundays after starting the year 10-0 on Sundays.

STANDINGS: The RedHawks are in a tie for second place, one half game behind Round Rock.

LAST GAME: The RedHawks lost to Round Rock 8-6. Round Rock took an 8-2 lead after seven innings only to see the RedHawks score four in the eighth. Adrian Gonzalez went three-for-four with a double, home run and four RBIs for the RedHawks. Manny Alexander added a two-run home run. The loss ended Oklahoma 's nine-game winning streak.

VS. ROUND ROCK: The RedHawks are 4-10 against Round Rock this year and 2-4 at Dell Diamond. In 11 games against them, Jason Botts is 15-for-46 [.326] with two RBIs. In nine games against them, Chris Richard is 9-for-32 [.281] with two home runs and nine RBIs. Adrian Gonzalez has six home runs and 15 RBIs in 14 games against the Express. Michael Tejera has not allowed a run in six appearances [6.0 IP] against them.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Oklahoma's Josh Rupe makes his 13th start of the year for the RedHawks. In his last four starts, he is 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA [8ER, 24IP]. Prior to that, he lost five straight starts. DIVISION RIVALS: The RedHawks are 19-23 overall and 11-11 on the road against the American Conference Southern Division in 2005. They finished their season series 11-5 against Albuquerque and are a combined 8-18 against Round Rock and New Orleans.

FIRST FOUR: In the last seven games, the first four batters in the Oklahoma order have combined to hit .405 [49-for-121] with 27 RBIs and 37 runs scored.

MILESTONE: With his four RBIs last night, Adrian Gonzalez now has the most career RBIs [151] by a left-handed batter in RedHawk history. Pedro Valdes had 150 in 1999 and 2000. The overall record for most career RBIs by a RedHawk is 215, set by Kelly Dransfeldt from 1999-2002.

STARTER LOSS: Aaron Sele's loss last night was the first by a RedHawk starting pitcher since Juan Dominguez lost 4-0 at Tucson July 28.

ATTENDANCE: Through 58 home openings, the RedHawks have drawn 454,006 fans, an average of 7,828. Last year, they averaged 6,678 fans. In 1998, they averaged a franchise-record 7,221.

DOT-DOT-DOTS: The RedHawks have used 31 pitchers so far this season. They used 30 all of last season ... Jason Botts' seven triples this year ties the single-season RedHawks record set by Kelly Dransfeldt in 2002 ... Esteban German has 31 stolen bases this season, the second most in a season by a RedHawk. The RedHawk record is 32, set by Jeff Picker in 2003 ... Relief pitcher Jose Veras has 16 saves this season. Both the single season and career record for saves by a RedHawk is 18, held by Allen McDill [1999] and Brad Clontz [2004].
