Captains finally back in town Friday, hosting RailCats and Wingnuts

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release


SHREVEPORT, LA- The Shreveport-Bossier Captains, presented by U-Auto Pull-It Auto Parts, welcome the Gary South Shore RailCats this Friday for a three-game series before the Wingnuts of Wichita visit on Monday to round-out the six-game home stand, that concludes on Wednesday, July 20. All games will begin at 7:05pm with Sunday's match-up starting at 6:05pm. The home stand is highlighted with 98 Rocks Shirt Off Our Back, Academy Sports & Outdoors Night and Youth Baseball Clinic, Pepsi's "Bark at the Park", and Willis-Knighton Kids Eat Free Wednesdays.

98 Rocks - Presents "Shirt Off Our Back Night" where fans will have the chance to take home their favorite Captain's game worn t-shirt. The evening also includes metroPCS Youth League Night and Buffalo Wild Wings "Kids' Run the Bases".

Saturday, July 16 - Gary South Shore RailCats @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)

Academy Sports & Outdoors - Presents Academy Sports & Outdoors Family Night when the first 500 fans will receive a baseball cap. In addition, fans will have the chance to win a gift card after each inning courtesy of Academy Sports & Outdoors. On Saturday, Academy Sports & Outdoors (Bossier location) will host a Youth Baseball Clinic starting at 10am with registration beginning at 8am. Sunday, July 17 - Gary South Shore RailCats @ 6:05pm (Gates open at 5:05pm)

Pepsi - Presents "Bark in the Park" where fans can bring their beloved family dog to the ballpark. Thanks to Pepsi, Sunday's also include a special ticket price of $2 and 20 ounce soft drinks for just $2. The Captain's welcome the Boys & Girls Club of Shreveport for Family Night.

Monday, July 18 - Wichita Wingnuts @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)

Ladies' Night - On Jose Cuervo Margarita & Maker's Mark Mondays all females 21 and over receive free admission. In addition, all margaritas, frozen drinks, and mixed drinks made with Maker's Mark are half-off.

Tuesday, July 19 - Wichita Wingnuts @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)

Captain Morgan TwoferTuesday - The evening includes buy one get one free tickets and Captain Morgan drinks.

Wednesday, July 20 - Wichita Wingnuts @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:05pm)

Willis-Knighton Wednesday - Kids 12 and under eat free with paid admission. Kids receive a free hot dog and can soda compliments of Willis-Knighton every Wednesday home game.

After this home stand the Captains travel to Fort Worth for a short three-game series against the Cats before returning home on Tuesday, July 26 to begin a six-game home stand with Grand Prairie and Amarillo.
