Sioux Falls 9, Fargo-Moorhead 5

Sioux Falls scored in six different innings en route to a 9-5 win against Fargo-Moorhead at Sioux Falls Stadium. Fargo-Moorhead got on the board in the top of the first inning when designated hitter Jesse Hoorelbeke hit a sacrifice fly to drive in shortstop Zach Penprase, and the RedHawks added two more in the top of the third when second baseman Carlo Cota and center fielder Nic Jackson each batted in a run. Sioux Falls followed by scoring the next six runs, and even though Fargo-Moorhead scored again in the sixth inning, it wasn't enough to top the Pheasants. Sioux Falls sealed the deal in the bottom of the sixth and seventh when left fielder Francisco Leandro and shortstop Joe Anthonsen each batted in a run respectively. Jackson had three of Fargo-Moorhead's 11 total hits, while Anthonsen led Sioux Falls with four hits and two RBI in four at-bats. Kyle Ruwe, now 3-3 on the season, earned the win by allowing seven hits, five runs and striking out one in five innings pitched.
