West Michigan Whitecaps News Release
COMSTOCK PARK, MI - Sunday's scheduled series finale between the West Michigan Whitecaps (29-27) and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (22-33) was canceled due to inclement weather on Sunday afternoon at LMCU Ballpark.
Consistent rain showers in the West Michigan area came down throughout Sunday afternoon, leading to the decision to cancel the Whitecaps and Timber Rattlers series finale. The game was the final scheduled meeting between the Whitecaps and the Timber Rattlers, and therefore will not be made up. Wisconsin clinched a series victory, winning four of the five games on the road, including a 4-1 victory on Saturday night to conclude the series.
