
Capitals deal Maxime Ouellet to Vancouver

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Capitals have traded goaltender Maxime Ouellet to the Vancouver Canucks for a fifth-round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced.
Ouellet, 24, was acquired from Philadelphia along with first-, second- and third-round draft choices for Adam Oates on March 19, 2002. Ouellet played six games for the Capitals in 2003-04, posting a 2-3-1 record and a 312 goals-against average.
The BEARS host Syracuse Saturday at GIANT Center. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m.
