
Capital City Acquires Dikembe Dixson and 2019 Third-Round Pick in Trade with Windy City

The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards' NBA G League affiliate, announced a trade with the Windy City Bulls today. The Go-Go acquired forward Dikembe Dixson and a 2019 NBA G League third-round draft pick in exchange for Tiwian Kendley and a 2019 fourth-round pick.
Dixson, a 22-year old, 6-7 swingman from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), has appeared in six games with the Windy City Bulls this season, averaging 3.0 points per game. The Matewan, West Virginia native also appeared in four total games between the Las Vegas and Sacramento Summer Leagues with the Miami Heat.
In three seasons at UIC, Dixson averaged 17.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in 72 starts. As a freshman in 2015-16, Dixson averaged 19.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game - setting the Horizon League record for scoring by a freshman with 594 points - on his way to being named unanimous Horizon League Freshman of the Year and All-Horizon League Second Team.
Tiwian Kendley appeared in 18 games this season with the Go-Go, averaging 11.7 points per game. He missed 17 games due to a right foot injury from January 3 to February 9.
