
Phoenix Suns Recall Melton from NAZ Suns

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Phoenix Suns announced today that they have recalled guard De'Anthony Melton from the Northern Arizona Suns. This was Melton's fourth assignment to the NBA G League.
The rookie returned to the court last night and scored a career-high 26 points in Northern Arizona's 130-126 win over the South Bay Lakers. He made 7-of-14 from the field, adding six rebounds, five assists and three steals in 36 minutes.
Overall this season for the NAZ Suns, Melton has played in six games (all starts), averaging 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.7 steals. He returns to the Phoenix Suns, where he has averaged 5.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals in 33 games (25 starts).
The Phoenix Suns play tonight at the Cleveland Cavaliers at 5 p.m. MT.
