Bulldogs Team Up With UNICEF To Provide Relief For Haiti

Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs Owner and Chairman Michael Andlauer announced today that the hockey club and Bulldogs Foundation will be donating all proceeds from the 50/50 draw from tonight's game between the Rochester Americans and Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum to UNICEF to provide aid to the children of Haiti. The money raised through the 50/50 draw will be matched by the Hamilton Bulldogs and also donated to UNICEF to help the lives for these children of Haiti.

On Tuesday, January 12th the largest earthquake in 240 years hit the country of Haiti, killing close to 50,000 people and making tens of thousands more homeless. The Hamilton Spectator reported today that 1,415 Canadians are still missing in the affected area while 272 have been flown back to Canada.

A crowd of over 6,000 people are expected to be in attendance when the Rochester Americans battle the first place Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Copps Coliseum. Fans can purchase 50/50 tickets from the various volunteers that will be located throughout the concourse. Fans can also make donations to UNICEF boxes that will be located at the Bulldogs Foundation booth behind section 114 and at the customer service booth.
