Bucks in Bossier Tonight
November 13, 2010 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Laredo Bucks News Release
The Bucks look to snap their season-high three game losing streak Saturday night when they play their first road game since October 30th. Laredo lost the last three games of their season-high five-game home stand to finish the stretch with a 2-3 record.
Laredo lost their third straight game Friday night in a 7-3 home loss to Allen. The seven goals were the most given up this season by the Bucks and the most given up at home since February 2009 against Arizona.
Reigning CHL Player of the Week Neil Trimm picked up two points Friday and leads the league in scoring with 19 points (6-13=19). Trimm has a league-best 10 game point streak.
The Bucks and Mudbugs will meet for the second time in four days Saturday following a 4-3 Bossier win in Laredo on Tuesday night. Steve Crampton scored with just 34 seconds left in the third period to spur the âBugs to the win.
The Mudbugs are tied for first with Allen as they sport a 9-4 (18 points) record this season. Bossier enters Saturday's game on a two-game winning streak after beating Laredo Tuesday and Rio Grande Valley 4-3 Friday night.
Justin Aikins leads the Mudbugs in scoring with 17 points (6-11=17).
The Bucks and Mudbugs will meet again next Saturday (Nov. 20th) in Laredo.
