(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that the team has released defenseman Brett Blatchford. Blatchford has chosen at this time to pursue other career avenues.
"We wish Brett all the best in his future endeavors," said Head Coach Nick Vitucci. "I know Brett will succeed in whatever he chooses to do." Brett appeared in all three games for the Walleye this season, collecting one assist and was a plus one.
The Toledo Walleye will continue the regular season on Friday, October 29 at 7:00 PM vs. the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Huntington Center. Ticket packages are on sale now and group outings are being reserved. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
