
Salmon Kings and Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre Enter Partnership with Lighthouse Brewing Company

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings and the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre announced today that they have entered a partnership with Lighthouse Brewing Company.
Lighthouse will become the exclusive supplier of local beer inside the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and the title sponsor of the "Lighthouse Lounge" at center ice. Products such as Lighthouse Lager, Race Rocks and Beacon IPA will be available in all areas of the building with exclusivity of draught taps in the Lighthouse Lounge. Also, Lighthouse products will be available in all concessions, as well as in the buildings suite's and "King's Feast Restaurant". Lighthouse will also be available on tap in the "King's Corner Lounge" inside the main concourse.
"Lighthouse Brewing Company is very excited about this new partnership with the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre," Lighthouse Brewing Company Sales and Marketing Manager John Fitterer said. "This is a very big opportunity for our local company, and allows us to expose a large number of people to our great locally-produced beers through an established organization within the Victoria community."

The Salmon Kings return home to open their home-schedule of the 2010-11 regular season at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this Wednesday October 27, Friday October 29 and Saturday October 30 to take on the Ontario Reign. Game time for all three games is 7:05 p.m. Throughout the duration of next week's series, the team will be holding a silent auction for select game-worn Salmon Kings' jerseys. A special live auction will also take place following the Saturday game in the main concourse of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, where fans will have the chance to bid on various game-worn jerseys, as well as Peter Vandermeer's navy blue jersey he wore during his introductory press conference!
