Grizzlies Add Pair of Rookie Forwards

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley today announced that the team has signed rookie forwards Kevin Deeth and Tyler Ruegsegger.

Deeth played four years of college hockey at the University of Notre Dame. He totaled 35 goals and 79 assists for 114 points in 164 games. His older brother Brian played nine games with Utah at the end of the 2006-2007 season following college at Northeastern University. Deeth played for Grizzlies Assistant Coach Leigh Mendelson and the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL in 2005-2006.

Ruegsegger, joins Utah after totaling 16 goals and 25 assists for 41 points in 41 games during his senior year at the University of Denver. He was a 2006 draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs and was selected 266th overall in the sixth round. The Colorado native rivaled Utah captain Jake Gannon who played collegiately at Colorado College.

The Grizzlies return to action Wednesday in Boise. Face-off is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

After an eight-game road trip, the Grizzlies return home Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20 to host Alaska. Face-off both nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
