
Bob Dylan Comes to Wings Stadium

Kalamazoo, MI- The Wings Stadium Complex, which is home to The Annex and The Cube, announces Bob Dylan, with special guest Dawes, will perform in concert at Wings Stadium on Saturday, April 20th at 7:30 pm featuring all of the great classic hits throughout Dylan's five-decade career.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, March 9th at 10 AM and will be available at the Wings Stadium ticket office as well as at all Ticketmaster outlets.
Ticket prices for this memorable show are $49.50 and $29.50.
Dylan has graced the Wings Stadium stage on three other occasions, October 27, 1978, November 19, 1996 and most recently on November 8, 2008.
This American icon has written more than 600 songs and his multiple hits have certainly helped shape American folk music along with traditional and Christian rock, country, R&B and blues. Dylan has released 46 albums over his incredible career and his music has remained part of the American musical landscape since the 1960's.
One of the most influential figures of the 20th century, musically and culturally, Dylan was included in the Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century where he was called "master poet, caustic social critic and intrepid, guiding spirit of the counterculture generation".
Dylan's newest studio album, Tempest, was released in September 0f 2012 featuring ten new original songs and that release of Tempest coincided with the 50th Anniversary of Dylan's debut album which was released by Columbia Records in 1962.
Stadium Management Company owns the Wings Stadium Complex, the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team, Wings West and the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings hockey team. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 6,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and can hold up to 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube plays host to both ice and non-ice events. Wings West is comprised of two ice sheets plus Old Burdick's Restaurant at Wings West. The Borgess Ice Rink can accommodate more than 1,200 fans for Jr. K-Wings games. The Olympic Rink plays host to both ice and non-ice events. Both facilities are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
