Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Boardwalk Bullies netminder Matthew Yeats earned his third professional career shutout Friday against the Northwest Division-leading Toledo Storm by a final of 4-0. With the win, the Bullies tied the Storm with 68 points, tops in the league. The Bullies are now 29-10-10 and have won its last three games.

J.F. Caudron netted the game-winning goal and chipped in three assists for his 12th multiple-point game this season. CCM ECHL Rookie of the Month Jim Henkel extended his league-leading scoring streak to 18 games with two assists.

Alternate Captain Luke Curtin scored two power-play goals, his first tallies since October 26, 2002.

The one-sided offense added to Toledo's frustration, sparking several fisticuffs outbreaks. Storm's Darryl Bootland fought Shawn Maltby in the second period and Steve Munn in the third and Kris Waltze duked it out with Atlantic City's Ryan Mougenel late in the third period.

The score and the penalties are just a precursor for tomorrow's matchup. The Bullies face the Storm for Round Two at 3:05 p.m. at Boardwalk Hall.
