Blues Recall Jordan Kyrou from Rampage
DES MOINES, IA - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced on Wednesday that the Blues have recalled forward Jordan Kyrou from the San Antonio Rampage.
Kyrou, 20, leads the Rampage in goals (16), points (43), and plus/minus rating (plus-3) in his rookie season. The Toronto, Ontario native was selected to the 2019 AHL All-Star Classic and was named the AHL Rookie of the Month for December, the first Rampage rookie to earn the honor. Kyrou has three goals and ten points over his last nine games.
The 2016 second-round Blues draft pick had nine goals and 20 points during a franchise record-tying 12 game points streak from Nov. 25 to Jan. 2.
Kyrou has a goal and two assists in 16 games with the Blues this season.
The Rampage face the Iowa Wild on Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT, with the game available on the Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
