
BlueClaws host Hagerstown and Delmarva to close out first half

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws return home to FirstEnergy Park for seven games starting on Monday, June 2. The upcoming games feature some of the biggest giveaways of the season and are also critical as the BlueClaws compete for a first-half division title.
The BlueClaws have won 10 of their last 11 games and are just three games behind first-place Lake County with 14 first-half games to go.
Monday's 7:05 p.m. game against Hagerstown, the Class A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, is Health and Wellness Night, sponsored by Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey. As always, it will also be Kids Eat Free Monday, presented by ShopRite. Every kid in attendance will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and a soda.
The action continues on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. with a BlueClaws pint glass giveaway to the first 2,000 fans 18 and older, presented by Sunrise Senior Living. It will also be Senior Day Tuesday, thanks to Commerce Bank, as every senior will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and a soda. Baseball Bingo cards will also be handed out to every fan
Wednesday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Suns will feature the first bobblehead giveaway of the season. The first 2,000 fans of all ages will receive a Kyle Kendrick "Made the Phillies" bobblehead, thanks to Smart Carpet and Flooring.
Thursday will be a promotions doubleheader, as the Delmarva Shorebirds, the Class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, visit Lakewood to start a four-game series. Prior to the 7:05 p.m. game, the first 2,000 fans will receive Cole Hamels figurines, courtesy of Verizon Wireless. Then following the game, the BlueClaws will make up the rained out fireworks from May 16, with a post-game fireworks show, presented by Toyota and Scion World of Lakewood.
Friday's 7:05 p.m. game with the Shorebirds will also feature post-game fireworks, again sponsored by Toyota and Scion World of Lakewood.
The series continues on Saturday with "Made it to the Phillies" posters, thanks to the Asubry Park Press. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive this exclusive poster featuring favorite former BlueClaws that have made it to the Show.
The homestand wraps up on Sunday at 1:05 with the first celebrity visit of the season. Jason Thompson, star of General Hospital, will be on hand to meet the fans and sign autographs, thanks to JerseyShoreMoms.com. It will also be Kids Character Sunday, presented by Renewal by Anderson.
