Intimidators Open Series Against Grasshoppers With 7-1 Loss

Kannapolis, NC - The Intimdators received five strong innings from starter Kevin Skogley but it wasn?t enough falling 7-1 in the series opener with Greensboro at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.
Skogley allowed three runs on five hits over five frames. The UNLV product walked two and struck out seven taking the loss (0-1).
Offensively, Kannapolis had just five hits through eight innings before pushing a run across in the ninth on a Jim Gallagher RBI groundout to plate Sergio Morales. Christian Marrero was the bright spot with two base hits.
