Blades Gift Fans Ninth Straight Win Heading into Christmas

BLADES WIN: The Saskatoon Blades explosive four-goal first period was enough for their ninth straight win, defeating the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre 6-1. The Blue and Gold are now tied for second with the Red Deer Rebels in the Eastern Conference with 48 points. Another offensive clinic gives Saskatoon 31 goals in their last four games!

POINT STREAKS LIVE: Five Blades came into tonight with a point streak of three or more games, and every single one survived. That includes forwards Brandon Lisowsky, Egor Sidorov, Conner Roulette, alternate captain Trevor Wong, and captain Aidan De La Gorgendiere.

CAREER HIGH: Wong scored and set up teammates twice for a three point performance. He now has 43 points on the season, breaking his previous career high last year of 42.

NEXT GAME: The Blades are off until Tuesday Dec. 27 for their Teddy Bear Toss game at SaskTel Centre against the Prince Albert Raiders.
