December 17, 2022 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release
BLADES WIN: The Saskatoon Blades offence shined once again beating the Spokane Chiefs 8-5 at SaskTel Centre for their eighth consecutive win! The game three years in the making did not disappoint, with a combined ten-goal third period. Saskatoon improves to 23-5-0-0 on the season, and continue to turn heads across the league! The Blades have scored 25 goals in their last three matchups.
LISO FEVER: Forward Brandon Lisowsky recorded his second hat-trick and five point game in just three games. The Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick has now scored nearly a quarter of his total points in that stretch, and leads the team in goals with 18.
SERVED ON A TEE: Alternate captain Trevor Wong extended his point streak to eight games with the opening goal, and an assist. The Vancouver, BC. product has been a passing machine, 15 of his 17 points on that stretch have set up one of his linemates.
