
Blades Fall to Pats 4-3 in Exhibition Play

Saskatoon Blades News Release
The Saskatoon Blades dropped their final exhibition game by a final score of 4-3 to the Regina Pats. The Blades finished up their pre-season with a record of 2-4-0-0.
Josh Nicholls had a break out game, scoring two goals on special teams with his first on the power play and the second while shorthanded.
Blades goaltenders Adam Morrison and Matthew Krahn split the duties in goal. Morrison allowed 1 goal against on 11 shots while Krahn turned aside 7 saves on 10 shots.
Both teams were a perfect 1 for 1 on the power play with the Blades also scoring a shorthanded goal on their only penalty kill of the game.
The Blades will now get set for the regular season as their next action takes place on Friday, September 19th in the season opening game against the Prince Albert Raiders.
